Bul. Lilii Bai He 9-30g Nourishes Yin, moistens the Lungs, clears Heat, stops cough and calms the Spirit.
With Shu Di Huang, for palpitations, irritability, insomnia, and dark, scanty urine due to lingering Heat.
With Sheng Di Huang, Shu Di Huang and Xuan Shen, for coughing with Blood-streaked sputum, hot palms and soles and nightsweats from Lung and Kidney Yin Deficiency.
With Mai Men Dong, Xuan Shen and Chuan Bei Mu, for chronic dry cough and sore throat with Blood streaked sputum due to Lung Yin Deficiency or consumption.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 5-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood Nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
With Mai Men Dong, for a dry throat, irritability, a red tongue and a rapid thready pulse due to Devastated Yin with Blazing Fire; excessive thirst, irritability and a scarlet tongue due to Ying Stage Heat; swelling of the throat and lymph nodes and constipation due to Excess Heat with Yin Deficiency.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 9-30g Nourishes Jing and Blood, fills the Marrow,strongly enriches Yin and stops coughing and wheezing.
With Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency marked by dizziness, palpitations, insomnia and menstrual dysfunction.
Bul. Fritillariae Cirrhosae Chuan Bei Mu 3-12g Clears Heat, transforms Phlegm, stops cough, nourishes and moistens the Lungs, clears Heat, dissipates nodules and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 7-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, softens hardness, dissipates nodules, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
With Sheng Di Huang, for Excess or Deficiency Heat patterns; late-stage febrile disease with irritability, thirst and constipation and Kidney Yin Deficiency with Fire Blazing and soreness and swelling in the throat, dry mouth and a parched tongue.
With Sheng Di Huang and Mai Men Dong, for a sore, dry throat due to Deficiency Fire.
